ABOUT

After a very successful first season of "Deep Bioinformatics Boot Camp" in August 2023, we are pleased to announce the second season going to be held from February 18th to 21st, 2025 at HiCHiCoB-BIC, CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, H.P., India.

This season has been themed around the topic of Transcriptional regulation of genes. Like the last time, this time again we have very carefully selected our speakers and topics to ensure a high quality learning and update in the field. All the speakers are proven experts in the world of science and outstanding national scientists, the real national treasures.

The first half of each day is dedicated to lectures by these luminaries, while second half will cover the hands-on practical sessions. The last day we expect to host a brunch/lunch at a scenic landscape giving heavenly view of Kangra valley, Pristine forests, and a Waterfall trek.

and of the venue for the final day, valedictory session.

The first day (18th February) is planned to open with the understanding towards the challenges in plant TF based regulations and Epigenomic regulations.

The second day (19th February) has been dedicated towards understanding plant transcriptional regulations related high-throughput data, network approaches to decode a system level understanding.

The third day (20th February) will bring you to the world of genomic organization, chromatin remodelling, enhancers, their long distanced clustering, and Hi-C sequencing data analysis.

The fourth day (21st February) is dedicated towards understanding the basic statistics used in deciphering transcriptional regulation, where we will try to introduce the Bayesian Nets & Causality which drastically improve precision and accuracy in decoding conditional specificity of transcriptional regulatory networks, something not possible by routine network analysis appraoches and static approaches like WGCNA/Co-expression networks.

Total Seats Available: 25
